“Every time you sit down to care for your child’s hair you will either make a deposit or withdrawal from their trust bank.”
As a full-time working mom, I understand what it's like to never have enough time. We work, manage the household, take care of our kids, all while trying to carve a little time out for ourselves. So it is no surprise when hair care does not make it to the top of the priority list. When it does, it’s a full-on battle royale between you, the knots/tangles, and your child, which may end in tears, frustration, and hurt.
Mom, it doesn’t have to be like this!
Discover a new way with
iDoItHerWay
Natural Hair Symposium
The iDoItHerWay Natural Hair Symposium is a 3-day hair workshop, designed to help busy moms, like you, get out of the hair care RUT and get your child’s hair back on track.
You will walk away with:
An understanding of your child’s needs throughout the hair care process as well as, tricks and product must-haves, to unlock your child’s natural hair potential.
The confidence [momfidence] to create positive hair experiences and build self-esteem while limiting tantrums.
A methodology for identifying, organizing, and maximizing a hair care routine you can stick to.
This Natural Hair Symposium is for you if:
🙋🏿♀️ The tears, tantrums, and fights are just too much.
🙋🏿♂️You lack experience manipulating natural hair and you want the Black Rapunzel Blueprint; hair that is natural,
healthy, and long.
🙋🏿♀️You cringe when you think of your child experiencing the hot combs, burnt hair, and scalp burns of your past.
🙋🏿♂️You are ready to create an uplifting natural hair environment for your child.
“Give your child a seat at the hair care table. Work with them to decide what happens to their hair and when. It will change their entire hair care experience for the better.”
Hello, I’m Patrina and this is Parker!
About ten years ago, I embraced my natural curls after worshipping the creamy crack (a relaxer) for over 20 years. In the midst of re-discovering my hair, I was blessed with a wise, sweet, and sassy daughter.
I decided early on that I wanted her hair experiences to be different from mine because when I was a kid, my hair was not my own. I received my first relaxer when I was 4 years old because my hair was "too hard" and "too nappy". My hair was rarely washed and when it was, it was accompanied by tears, pain, and frustration. So when I introduced my little girl to wash day, and she flipped out, I knew I needed to figure out a better way."
I switched up my approach and tried different things with the goal of creating a positive experience for her until one day I figured it out. Today, wash days are free of tears and tantrums. We worked together to develop the products and processes which keep her natural hair healthy as it grows past her waist.
We would love to share our process and products with you so that your child can experience natural healthy long hair too. Will you take the first step?
